AQUARIS only sells products which are made from strictly controlled raw materials. Since fish live in a medium in which they eat, breathe and move, it is particularly important to use food that has a high digestibility. Inferior food, where cheap grain is used, has low digestibility, and thus makes the fish to produce more excretions, which burden the water with harmful substances. With the water care products, which are offered by AQUARIS, it works the same way. Also here, only products, which improve the water quality noticeably, are used. A deliberate choice has been made to avoid using copper or zinc oxide and to replace it with more biological options, such as bacteria cultures, where possible.
